Following some feedback from users of The History Forum I've changed the multi-column topic page to make it look at a bit less cluttered and made the "New Topic" link more prominent. I've also fixed the problems with the emotions and BB code.

Next I'll incorporate the suggestions into the topic page. Particularly with a view to improving the visibility of the "Post Reply" buttons.
