Mobile Forums
Been working on the mobile version of the forums recently.Hopefully I'll be able to do a beta test on the UK Politics Forum next week.
So far it's looking pretty promising, which also raises the possibility of some other future additions to adjust the site view. Like a "classic" look circa 2003, or various other layout options to suit members preferences.

PoFo Upgrade & News Tab
I've not made any posts here for over a week since I've been really busy with upgrading the Politics Forum. That's been done now although I continue to work on fixing bugs and other display issues/improvements.I've also been working on a new News tab, which is primarily for PoFo.

Post Background Images
I've now added the functionality to the board to display background images within posts.This will be used to allow moderators and site supporters/subscribers to make their posts stand out more. Moderator graphics will not be available to site subscribers and vice-versa.
This is the last feature I plan to add before upgrading the main Politics Forum. Getting the new look ready for PoFo's upgrade will now be priority number one.

"Ignore" Feature
I've added the ability to ignore users in the new template. The functionality is not quite the same as the software default; Only subscribing users will be able to use the ignore-user feature, which will hide that user's posts from view. However, it will not be possible to ignore administrators, moderators or other subscribers.At the moment subscriptions are only available on PoliticsForum.org, and that site has not been upgraded to the new template at this time, so this feature is not available to users just yet.

I've been working on the forum index today. There is now a multi-column layout for that which I'll roll out to the forums that have been upgraded for further testing and user-feedback.It's still not finished though, as I intend to add unique forum images and reduce the amount of code.
